I am open to suggestions as to what database will work best for this application. Please include the database program that you intend to use with your response. Goal: Combine multiple spreadsheets into one searchable and sortable master database by merging three Microsoft excel spreadsheets. The database needs to be able to be sorted by all fields in the spreadsheets including: • State • Rep # • Customer Type • Customer Title • Zip Code • Lead Source* *Lead Source may have multiple values. ie. A customer that is both a “direct mail†and a “tradeshow†contact must be displayed in both “direct mail†and “tradeshow†lists. The purpose of this database is to generate specific mailing lists. If I say that I would like to have a mailing list of all "Michigan" reps in the zip code "48823" I would need it to generate a list of all contacts that fit that criteria. This list would ideally be output to Excel or CSV format. All of the existing excel spreadsheets have the same format in excel. Hi, This can be done using PHP/MySQL. I can help you import the spreadsheets into MySQL db & then will create a php form where you can select the criteria to export the result mailing list to CSV or Excel. If you are interested , then we'll proceed.
