Apologies if this is in the wrong section, encompasses a few different topics, but this seems the best section of the forum...

Basically, I have the bricks for my house, but I don't have the mortar to hold it all together.

    The bricks:

    o I have an idea.
    o I (believe) I have found a niche.
o I have someone who will create a site for me (proficient in at least HTML and CSS, never needed to use any thing other than these in the past for me, so not entirely sure how used to using other scripting languages they are)
    o I have hosting.
o I have a few 'catchy' domains in mind, all available at the moment, due to the niche
o I have a captive, target audience, along with around 50 persons that I can test this out on.

    The mortar:
o The one thing I require is my own affiliate program - and I have no idea how to go about it.

Like many other websites, I need some type of program/script that allows someone to sign up, have their own unique affiliate ID, and then for everyone who signs up using that affiliate ID, they need to get paid, as well keeping a record for me.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Ideally - as with most peope - i'd like to do this for free, or as cheap as possible, although the money is there to use if needed.

To cut that short - I need my own affiliate program. Can anyone help?

    Many thanks,

    Dan

It costs $50, but clickbank will accomplish what you need.

Matthew is right. If you don't have a solid list of affiliates to push your products, you should try an affiliate broker like paydotcom or clickbank. The downside to using either are the fees associated with it PLUS don't expect to get many affiliates without giving a ton of the price point away (the industry standard is now around 70-75%).

If you are looking to start your own affiliate program, jrox.com might be something you can investigate. It will allow you to have an affiliate program through them for free up to 50 affiliates.

    Hope that helps ya.
