I am after creating video tutorials based from screen grabs with a voice over. How do I achieve this as well as the ability to edit the video's. Is there any software I can use?
Screen capture software: Screenflow for Mac Camtasia for Windows As for voice recording; it doesn't really matter. A lot of computers have voice recorded built-in. You just need a mic.
honestly if you want you want to make you tutorial cheaply then you should try fiverr for that reason. otherwise you can try picasa.
Camtasia is not necessary. Grab you images. Record your voiceover with Audacity. Get a free video editor, import your images and your soundtrack. Edit to fit images to soundtrack. Done. I create my videos like that all the time.
I've used both Camtasia (for PC) and Screenflow (MAC) and they are both perfect for what you are looking for. There is a bit more of a learning curve with Camtasia, although it is very powerful software.
I create video tutorials using a program called Fraps. As for voice recording, I use Audacity. Lightworks is the best thing I have used for video editing.
