Creating Transparent Headers w/ CSS background color

Can someone please point me to a good tutorial for this or describe how it's done? I was able to create a png image that works fine in Firefox, but with IE the background color shows up in front of the header text in the image and so you can't read the text in the image. Below is the image that I've created that doesn't work in IE - maybe you can see what's wrong with it?

    Hi,

Yeah IE6 has a problem with transparent PNG's. It has no problems with GIF's at all, but if you would like to get work a transparent PNG then you must use a hack.

Try to ask Google - "IE transparent png hack", as there are more workarounds.

I tried all of the known hacks and NONE of them really worked. :( IE either crashed, displayed grey background or made it transparent TOGETHER with the text. IE sucks!

I was pretty sure that it could be done with a .png. Does not the image below work with IE?

Nope, IE blows. You have to make the background match so IE quits bitching.

No. Should I be changing this in a CSS class for the img?
