Creating text ads in Google Ad Manager

    I have a customer that is buying a text link ad on my website. I have created the ad in Google Ad Managers rich media area. The ad is live on my website. My question is...

    Will a spider follow this type of link?

    or

    Do I need to manually create the link in my site?

    When I view the page source the link looks like this:
