Hey everyone, I'm kind of new to this site. I noticed that when I was looking at the Buy, Sell and Trade board that all kinds of sites where there. It would take me quite the time to go through the titles + posts to see if their SFW or NSFW. Wouldn't it be easier to keep that board and it's subboards but make one SFW and the other NSFW? It would definitely make it easier on us members. Might not make life too pleasant for webmaster of digital point lol.. but makes our life much easier having a specific sections. Whats everyone else's thoughts on this? Cheers, Binjamin (p.s. I'm so sorry if it exists and I totally missed it, but I definitely didn't see sections.)
I might be able to relate to what you are trying to say if I knew what SFW and NSFW meant...lol please tell me.
SFW = Safe For Work NSFW = Not Safe For Work I personally don't see a need for NSFW, since this is a webmasters forum....and we all should be here to get things for our work.. We already have a adult domain / link section so I think that should be enough
Ahh thanks Brew...I guess because I've always worked for myself, I've never had a need to know what it means. That makes sense.
Indeed, and theoretically, everyone doing transactions here should be at least 18 years of age, so there shouldn't be a problem.
I don't see that section at all. Is it a restriction to new members to see that or something? True, but, it's not about that. It's about websites. Obviously most SFW sites do not want to trade with NSFW sites and the traffic productivity would probably be horrible as well as there is no relevance in content. It's just good to have a place where all is for adults, instead of having to search through posts for traffic trades etc checking links to see if their NSFW or not. But, if there is an adult section as sundaybrew has said, I'm sorry but I really don't see it. I really don't see how it doesn't. It makes perfect sense to separate the adult and non adult websites. Cheers everyone , Binjamin
On most sites i am on if someone posts a message with sensitive material, they add *NWS* to the title so people know not to click it at work! Like i did in this thread (Its just respectfull): http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=314532
hey im new here and I had the same thought about separating the SFW and NSFW link exchange section as well as the traffic sales section. There are thousands of webmasters who work with NSFW content and marketing. Don't you think it would make a richer community if you included a wider spectrum of niches? A lot of information about web marketing and seo is relevant to all webmasters. exactly. Otherwise its just a huge waste of time on everyones part as they sift through unwanted information.
But the GENERAL DISCUSSION areas are not OFF TOPIC from the rest of the site and i think using the NWS tag is appreaciated. (If someone posts such content)
