In the BST forums, especially Domains forum:
    http://forums.digitalpoint.com/forumdisplay.php?f=59

Some people never mentioned the domain name(s) they are selling.
Instead, they asked people to PM them.

Unfortunately many people simply post "please pm me", thus bumping the thread. I know doing so would cause an infraction but people are still doing it. This is very different from when social media exchanges were prohibited -- just within a few days, DP was free from such exchanges. But now, it seems the rule is not being enforced.

I propose a new subforum in the Domains forum:
"domains for sale -- private sale"

Sales threads which require potential buyers to PM the seller (due to partial information regarding the domain name) should be placed in this subforum. This way, the Domains forum would be free from unnecessary bumps.

Another solution would be to make it a rule to mention the domain name in the thread. No more "PM me for more info".

    Thank you for your consideration!

We don't need a new forum to get people to follow the rules. And they are definitely being enforced. Remember, you can't see what posts have gotten infractions for other people, and there are a LOT of them for us to deal with - we're doing the best we can.
