Just a simple question: Creating new blogger and wordpress, do they get automatically get indexed because they are created in a popular site?
A new blogger or wordpress blog may take weeks to get indexed without any backlinks in my experience. The best way to speed up the process is to create simple backlinks to the new blog from much popular(frequently crawled) sites like social networks(facebook, twitter, myspace...) or bookmarking sites(digg, stumbleupon,...) This will absolutely increase the speed of getting indexed.
I would just like to add to this. Even if your submission to sites like Reddit or Digg don't get a lot of exposure, upvotes, or whatever, it will still help with indexing and counting toward your link collection.
Blogger tends to be indexed without any help at all. With Wordpress, I would say that you should add a list of pinging services to be notified once you publish a post. The more pings you get, the faster you get indexed. At least, this has been my experience.
Yes I think its automatically indexed on Google, but sometimes you need to tell Google by adding your blog URL at http://www.google.com/addurl/?continue=/addurl
Whenever I create new blogger blogs they seem to be indexed very quickly, even the new posts, without many backlinks. I think Google favors the blogs that are hosted on their own servers.
