Creating my own template?

Hi, I'm a bit of a novice in website creation and I'm trying to create my own website template because the hosts that I've signed up with (Justhost) haven't got any templates that can be edited (i.e pictures/colours changed). Could anyone direct me to a place with easy to follow instructions on how I can do this or give me some guidance on what do to/software to use? Sorry if it's a bit of a stupid question but I've tried loads of internet searches to no avail and this is my last port of call.

    Thanks.

Well, for starters, if you want to program your own template and website you'll have to learn html and css, you can do that at w3schools.com for free; or a easier option is to get a free website template (there are literally thousands available on the internet, just google it ;) ) and then edit it with software such as dreamweaver (quite pricey) or any other free html editor on the internet.

I wish you all the best!

    Hello, Mistication.

Here is a site where you can get free templates.

    http://www.freewebsitetemplates.com/

To use them, you must know HTML and CSS. If you don't know and don't want to learn, you will need to get a program to make Web sites without knowledge of these things. If you want to learn, you may begin here:

    Best wishes.

For the fisrt time, you may try to edit an existing template. Please use trial and error. I think you have to install apache, php and mysql in you localhost. So you are no need to upload the files already editted
