i was wondering whether or not by creating multiple subdomain will actually help in google pagerank when google count subdomain the same as the orginial domain? for example, i register a domain called www.abc.com then my site is doing so well then i enjoy a page rank of 6 let's say. then i create a subdomain called forex.abc.com , will my subdomain enjoy higher page rank in google rank so that i will get a better search engine result? please advice
Hi Ariesto, Rankings don't work in the way that you are thinking here, a rank is offered purely to the domain that the site is based on so adding a sub domain that ranks well would only benefit the sub domain and have no impact on the main domain. Think of it as been like a server.... if you have a PR9 on the same server as your PR1 its not going to make the PR1 jump up to a PR7 ranking... Hope this helps
what i referring is the subdomain, so the subdomain will enjoy the benefit of higher rank due to the main domain is currently in a high google rank. let's say my main domain is about health then my subdomain which name is forex.abc.com then i would better off setting a subdomain for my forex related article then registering a whole new forex domain since subdomain enjoy higher rank in google (due to main domain) then new forex domain?
