Hi There, As part of my link building strategy, I'm thinking of creating multiple websites (i own a lot of aged domains) about the topic of my primary site with the objective of linking directly to the primary ecommerce site; however, I'm sure it would be considrered spammy if i had 15 domains and all they linked to was the primary site. Does anyone have any experience in this area to go about it sucessfully as i'm looking to put up about 200 domains.
will all the domains be hosted on different class c ips? if not and all of them are on one hosting account, then you will not really get much of a benefit. besides, having a one or 2 page site just to link to your main site is not really a very efficient link building method. as you must know that it is the quality of backlinks that count and not the quantity, having a link from a site with not much authority and link popularity will not really give you quality backlinks. i suggest you find the top web 2.0 and social media sites, write unique relevant content, and then p[ublish it with your anchor text links. instead of developing 200 sites just to link to the main site, you can build 200 of those pages and you will get lot better benefit as the pages you will build will be shoted on an authority domain.
Hi Sultan, yes, all the domains will be on unique c class ips. Actually, i purchased a bunch of domains that have a bunch of backlinks already to them and have some authority in google that's why i plan to build them out, otherwise it'd be much much harder.
In addition to linking to your primary domain, link with each other, link to other websites, spread the domains hosting upon different C class IPs, and you are well on your way to achieving good seo effect.
This is true, spreading the link love is what Google likes to see. Not really a huge SEO benefit, but you will see higher rankings and possible PR sharing!
