how much would you charge for creating a DVD out of videos given to you?example a marriage video and they request for a dvd.
so with all the editing and effects and menus...etc ..from how much would your price start?

    thanks!
i'm a beginner to that so i would like to get an idea.:)

If they wanted menus and transitions, I'd be looking at around $400 AUD as a minimum (apx $300ish USD).

Evaluate their financial situation and estimate what they've already spent on their wedding.. base your price on that :)

also depends on length. Most ceremonies are under half an hour, but some could last quite long (I'm thinking ethnic weddings with rituals and ceremonial presentations which could last quite long. Plus if there's a party and footage from that, and a dinner. It's like saying you have some surf footage you want a DVD of.

Also, how are you going to take the finished DVD image and duplicate, print and distribute the DVD's for the people? When you negotiate your costs be sure to be clear on who is responsible for printing the DVD's so there aren't any surprises ;)

ya, so you should ask the people what they want on the video specifically like maybe the reception or the dinner party, and you sould ask them the specific order, so they know what would come next in the DVD when they re showing it to others. :) and so they are satisfied with the DVD and maybe they might recommend you to others
