Creating DP Trusted Directory Owners List - now based on survey

Just took the survey (my finger hurts). It turned out very nice. Really nice work on this. The directions were easy to understand, and even though there are 120+ folks to vote on, it was not painful.

Submitted a free link to your directory as well.

One question, how would one "update". Say I get links with a DP directory owner tomorrow, how would I update the survey? Just take it again?

I am not sure if I understand your question, but I'm updating the candidate list to "DP trusted directory owners list" by collecting the survey results from 100 people.

 

Sorry about that. Lets say I submit my site to a few directories this week (that are owned by DP members on the list) . How would I go back and update the survey to post my experience with them?

You don't need to go through all once again, you can just let me know for new votes on certain individuals?

Each survey is a closed one, so I can maintain the quality, a cheat proof. No one can votes 2 times. But updating/modifying the survey you have already taken is not convenient then.

Can't think of a better idea. But that would be the solution for now. I will add something on the survey page.

Just submitted the survery and realized we forgot stoner (wow) and John Scott (v7n).

 

I will include them in the next survey. The next one (additional one) shouldn't be too big I bet since I covered pretty much all active members. So far, Chris is the only one who got all "highly recommended". Not surprised

I hope other directory owners read this thread and take the survey. I was gonng make a new thread, but I didn't. If it's too slow, I will PM some. Not even 10 results yet.

 

Yeah, wait a couple days and PM the ones who didn't do it. Or just take them off of the list.

 

I'm just about to take the Survey... as I am relatively new here I haven`t done a great deal of business with members which will mean I have to click a lot of N/A's.

Just a suggestion for future surveys, instead of making them checkboxes, make them radio and defaulted to N/A. It will save the submitter a lot of time and probably produce better results....

 

I have had a few N/As even though I know most people. Then I clicked on some of their directories and liked what I saw and clicked "yes". (only voted "no" on one member)

Wow! That took a while... Well, got it completed!

I think the links to various directories should have had a "target=top" tag listed in the html URL links... Would have made it easier to visit the links.. I had gotten about 1/3 done with the survey when I clicked a link, clicking back meant starting over...

Other than that, nice job!

But then I didn't mean that you needed to check each one of them either

I meant that if you don't know or are nto sure who the owner is, you should check and see if you can know the owner by the directories they run. Don't forget the free offer

Wasn't really intending to check each one.. There was one I thought I recognized, but was not sure.. So checking out the site was a good way to jog the memory.. I'm just suggesting that the target=top tag would open the link in a new window instead of leaving the survey
