As per title... Creating different sites with similar content NOT 100% The same !


Pros and cons ?

We would like to create targeted sites for different locations with in the UK.


Any Help would be great.

you can make but according to the copyright rule this is not good

 

In no uncertain terms, building two websites that mirror each other in content will hurt your Internet marketing efforts. Google, AltaVista, AllTheWeb, Inktomi, and Yahoo! all explicitly state that you should not submit sites with mirrored content. Violating their rules is likely to get one or both of your sites permanently banned by the search engines.

 

Great but you have to different IP address like a C class box.

 

You can use some similar content without too much trouble. I would add some sort of updating content in there too, like some rss, local news or weather updates etc, just to mix it up a little.
Don't go overboard on usin the same content all over the site though.

The content could be from the same topic, but not specifically identical. You can rewrite the articles to make them look different and have more benefits. Use different keywords and titles.

 

in my experience it would not be hurt ur websites.
