Creating Content for Domain Names

    I have heard that Having content on a Domain name increases its resell value. But I want to know the exact reason which increases the value of the Domain Name.

    Is it because of the SEO put in the Domain Name? or
    Is it because of the Traffic the Domain already gets?

    Also tell me what type of content increases the Value of Domain name? Is a Wordpress Blog enough or a Static website will do?

    Please justify your views.

    seo always increases domain value for ranking and its value
    if it is keyword its natural traffic and it adds the value
    blog is used for management mainly statis pages also good if u have less pages

    Traffic, domain age, and directory awareness/placement, and page rank have a lot to do with it. I'm considering one domain simply because of its age. I can fix everything else myself.
