Dear Digital Point members, My first topic on these forums..and I like it already. I'm an webmaster from Holland, and have a few Dutch websites. Now I'm ready to create some international websites, and I want to start a site with BANS. Now, before I buy a domain and the software, I have this question; - As I'm from Holland, can I register at the E-Bay US Affiliate program? Please let me know, so I can get started.. Thank you!
eBay USA are infamous for auto rejecting people that aren't from the USA. BUT, I had no problems getting in (I'm from Australia), and I know there are people in Europe that are also eBay US affiliates. I'm pretty sure eBay USA still have an automatic accept/reject policy, so they probably don't even check your website. Maybe just register a domain (without hosting), sign up to CJ and apply to eBay ... at worst, you'll be auto rejected and end up with a spare domain. Of course, don't buy BANS until you're accepted by eBay. --- If ScoutFC.com is your site, then just put up some content and apply using that domain.
Yeah i do not have luck with ebay US. However I got accepted into eBay UK affiliate program without problems. Is there eBay affiliate program in Dutch? If so why not give it a go.
ScoutFC.com welcome from one dutchie to another yes you can sign up for ebay usa i got auto accepted instant cylai Ebay holland SUCKS they only pay for Confirmed Registered User and no sale
Thanks shinzo That's weird, because I got auto-refused.. Could you give me any tips how to get accepted?
Shinzo: do update us on how you got accepted to eBay US ! I suspect that you used an US forwarding address to apply, am I right? cheers, CY
I am Aussie and I got into US ebay. I didnt use any US addresses or anything like that. I was with CJ for a few months before I applied and I had a few sales from other sellers (not ebay) maybe that helped me.
Strange. As i know, eBay US auto-reject non US affiliate regardless of you making sales for others or not. I will try again. thanks!
