Creating backlinks to different website pages

Will creating backlinks to pages in a website ( www. myweb . com/about.html and www. myweb . com/info.html and www. myweb . com ) have a better result than having all the banklinks to the domain?

Backlinks to internal pages of your site are useful and important.

Getting better results than backlinks to domain is not the issue.

The issue is: backlinks to both domain and internal pages (usually called deep links) are much better for your site than backlinks to domain only.

For various reasons: additional keywords backed by external links, additional entry points for search engines,...


Of course, the linked internal pages should be important pages of your site (not pages of limited importance such as "disclaimer page", "contact page",...)

Incoming links to internal pages is more helpful than main domain. But, as you mentioned, backlinks to internal pages like .about or .info is certainly not good idea.

Try to build link for pages that are important i.e. Pages capable to give you business for example product pages or category pages.

If you want your internal pages to rank for certain terms then you absolutely need links to those pages with the term in the anchor text.
