    Hello,

I am currently looking into developing 2 products for usage on ClickBank.

Do any recent newcomers, who have had success, have any helpful tips or comments?

Preferrably someone who isn't selling a "How to make 89 trillion dollars using adsense/craigslist/etc/etc" lol!

But an actual product with content, possibly health/fitness/relationship related.

Just lookin for some tips or things to "beware" of!

    Thanks in advance!

Here is a tip for you...

Products like FL4I proved to us that a good sales page and LOTS of traffic is all you need... their content sucks, low quality and badly written, yet they made about $20M in 2008...

I've seen their page and the design is borderline horrible!

And nice to see another Canadian/Ukrainian! Manitoba perhaps? =)

In my previous reply I mentioned SALES PAGE and TRAFFIC - you can have a crappy design, that is not so important...

p.s. by SALES PAGE I mean the actual copywriting.

Try to find ppl with large mail lists of CB affiliates and try to work out a deal to get on these lists. This will help you find your first affiliates and get your gravity started.

Look for as many ways to contact affiliates as possible.

Also check out "product of the day" section of my website. That's another way to find affiliates.

Speaking of big selling diet products, have you read Top secret fat loss secret? I got a review copy and there is hardly anything in the book, its very short and its nothing special. I'm amazed it didn't get more refunds. I'm also puzzled as to why its fallen from grace in the last few months, although still making a lot.

My advice to you is to just dive in. The best way to improve, short of having a mentor in your house, is to just learn from your own mistakes and learn from experience.

    My history:

    - one product on something I liked (I learned I mis-read the market and my product should have had slightly different angle for that specific audience)
    - next product was good but very limited market, also the market doesn't really buy ebooks. It was a kind of business product
    - next product was a niche I underestimated. For reasons I can't go into, it is a very hard to sell niche, despite not looking so. A unique niche I won't be going near again.
    - next product in the health niche I stayed with Paypal. I decided to test it and get success first on my own before launching. Great product based on something I know about well and low refund rate and very well converting after testing. I will launch it very soon on Clickbank.
    - now working on several new products in succession.

I hope you see that I learned each time. I guess my advice is to know your market. If you like, you can PM me your product ideas before you start to create the product, I promise I will not use your niches.
