Creating Affiliate Resources for My Product

I finally listed a product in Clickbank with my wife the other day. Now that it is there, I would like to create some affiliate resources to help encourage affiliates to promote our products.

What are the best resources to create?

Here are a few I have noticed others make:

    - Articles so they can submit to article directories
    - Banners to put on their site and/or promote in adwords ppc
    - A huge list of related keywords to help choose PPC campaigns (Does anyone really do this?)
    - A review Article
    - A review email
    - A short 5 day email e-course for auto responders

I'd like to build a good list (or find one) and start chipping away at it.

I think your list is already a good start. Articles and banners are the essentials imo, as well as a basic keyword list, but it might depend on what your product is as to how much PPC you get - certainly PPC affiliates would come later as your program is proven and grows rather than tomorrow...

Add as many resources as you can, many vendor affiliate pages are larger than their sales pages - stuffed with info, articles and banners - start with what has been working for you in your own testing and promotion.

im doing the same thing and went the article route. WOW, i cant believe how hard it is to get something approved at ezine once they have flagged it.
they are wearing me out and i have dumbed it down as much as i can!

We posted two articles to ezines and had no troubles. We already have expert author status (whatever that means) I think it is super important to make a good first impression with them. Of course my wife is a perfectionist so they were perfect articles.

All you need is a free Plimus affiliate account ID.f you're interested in working from home I can honestly tell you this is unlike anything you may have heard of before!
That's because this is not some 'get rich quick' or MLM program.

Ya, I am a vendor in the instance. I am affiliate in some other markets.

I think once I have some of the affiliate sources built up I will promote a bit more. I don't think the niche I have is related to much of what the DP gang works in. But I guess that is just an assumption. The JV route is definitely a plan for the near future -- and I forgot about contests. I guess those or things for us "little" guys too. Not like I need to give away a car on my first product :)

This may sound weird, but I sometimes add a short, personal letter for my affiliates. I try to make them feel close to me.
