I run one of the biggest social networking sites in Canada, and I noticed that one of my top competitors has an extensive wikipedia page about its members, features and history. I would like to put up a wikipedia page in regards to my website, but I'm sure its frowned upon to submit self-soliciting content. How abouts would I go getting a wikipedia page made in a mannerable fashion?
It seems that is the only way, mentioned by Mankar, to get listed there . We tried to publish our article twice and it has been removed afterwards. Even we followed their guidelines
You might be alright if a top editor creates the page, even if it's originally written by you. Usually when someone starts a page, it gets removed for some reason, commonly "this page topic is not valuable to all members of the wiki."
