Creating a web gallery in Dreamweaver

Hello guys, I'm looking to create a slick online gallery of my graphic design samples etc. What i want to be able to incorporate is a web gallery,

Using an area on a page to indicate where to place the image, then using "Next" and "Previous" to scroll through a folder or specified images, which they all then replace each other inside the "area"

I would love this as i've tried the widgets like lightbox, thickbox etc but don't like how they operate...

Any help appreciated.

Dream weaver will not help much. You gotta use java scripts instead. dynamicdrive.com is nice for image galleries.

 

Why you don't use scripts ?

You can go here: JQuery and search for "slide show", you will get some for you.

 

Thanks to all the answers, however i found a really good widget. It's a Spry Slideshow with Filmstrip widget from adobe widgets. Easy to customize!
