    I could not figure out how to do this "profile.php?id=IDHERE" can you give me some suggestion? Can I use GET function to achive this?

    youll need a combination of html, php, mysql, and javascript with a touch of .htaccess to get this going for you

    I am familiar with php and mysql at some point but I do not know anything about javascript. Is the part of javascript crucial for to achieve this? Thanks!

    learn php mysql. you can learn how to make a login system in a week or two.
    but it will take at least a year or two to do good with any language lessons.
