I am going to be creating a slideshow style presentation containing a huge library of fan pics from my website. I was wondering if anyone knows what type of software will do this for me.

    Here is what I need:

    1. Ability to display text
    2. Ability to have pictures fade in and fade out to next slide
    3. Ability to have text display on pictures in #2
    4. Ability to add music

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Windows movie maker has all you need for your presentation. Another option is Memories on TV but if you really want to make it a good one then use create it using Macromedia Flash.

SlideShow Pro... it is definitely one of the best slideshow programs for websites. It has a content manager that holds all of your images, movies, audio and meta data and serves it through a great flash slideshow for your site. It even falls back on HTML5 for mobile users. If you don't like Flash, it has a free API that you can use to serve the images through javascript (I wrote a javascript slidshow player that plugs into slideshow pro's api... contact me if you are interested).

I agree, if you have windows use Powerpoint. That is if you have the full version. Windows is annoying with giving you trail versions.
