I launched a website a while back and it's not doing so great so I was considering turning into a porno related website. What are some of the rules and guidelines I need to know in order to not get in trouble. Can anyone even suggest some minor reading materials. I mean how much effort goes into opening a site that shows tits and ass? Any advice would be appreciated! What's the rules regarding the landing page. I see tons of porno sites and they have no landing page saying the you must be 19 rule. You will need to check the laws of both the country your company would be based in (normally where you live) and also the country where the site will be hosted

Here are some personal recommendations. I might be wrong and stand corrected. My first advice is that you familiar yourself with your local laws in regards to pornography. You do not want to involve yourself in something that will end you up in jail within a week! 1. The domain name If you intend to sell the site at some stage, look for a .com. Look for some interesting name. 2. Hosting Look for a hosting provider that will suit your needs. You can look at hostgator.com for a start. 3. The type of site Decide upon which type of site you want to start, a TGP, video hosting site, etc. You can get good scripts for a video hosting site here in the Adult section on DP. 4. Generating Income This is very difficult, especially on adult related sites. Do not expect to become a millionaire any time soon! There are few good PPC programs. You will in all likelihood try to sell membership access on affiliate programs. You can expect a signup ratio of 1 for every 8000 and more visitors. I would suggest further reading at gfy.com a forum dedicated to adult webmasters.
I would assume that you would need a good video editing/converting software like Camtasia. Best of luck

I would suggest reviewing the 2257 (i think its a law or something)..if you are going to be putting up your own content you will need to be sure an abide by all the 2257 rules (must provide model names, ages, and some contact information) or something like that..not exactly positive..but yea, visit JBM, GFY, and some of the other adult webmaster boards..they will probably be of more assistance.
