For most who have not really participated in the internet world there are a couple topics I would like to cover to insure your websites creating and advertising success.

    1. All formal business websites require a domain name. These names can be made up or have an actual meaning. Honestly sites like go daddy aren't the right place to start. This is because I used to work closely with their company and learned that some products are great but others were for just a scam. I started using cut rate domains because they were a new site trying to please customers.

    2. Now that your at a site to begin find a domain to use as a website URL and start building a website with go daddy's or cut rate domains website builder which could be found under the website building tab on the upper right. Though it is and easy website design program the real popular websites have more quality, so I recommend a premium package for a large amount of services your website can handle.

    3. The last piece is when your website is to your liking you must market it on the internet. This can be done on basic everyday search engines such as google, yahoo, or bing. Social media websites such as Facebook, or twitter can be excellent promotional campaign sites to advertise your product or website. Adwords for example is a great way to see what your websites worth in the real world by viewing particular key words. Though advertising is expensive there are a few secrets I would like to cover in my next blog.

I'd stay clear of GoDaddy. They have given me nightmares. On top of it, their upsells are terrible.

Domainr is a great place to get good domain name ideas. Sometimes the .com you want isn't available but they give you suggestions so your keyword can run into the TLD like del.iscio.us etc...

You can always put up a free blog on Blogger or Wordpress and then later use your domain instead of their sub-domain. Or you can use an already hosted Content Management System like Light CMS or Couch CMS etc.. there are quite a few out there, but they're pretty minimal.

    my 2 cents!
