Creating a new blog

    Hi,

    I am new to this field. I am just 14 years old. and thinking to create a new blog for me. As a start, I am thinking to create some articles on some softwares I regularly use. And I will put all my inputs, +'s and -'s of that software on that.

    Is it legal to do this? Do I need to ask for permission from anybody?

    For example, I use DAP (is a download manager) to download files from internet regularly past 1 year and i have wide knowledge about that. So, If I write an article about DAP, Do I need to ask permission from DAP owners (or developers)? Can I host screen shot of that also?
