How do you "officially" create a network of sites? Is it just a matter of putting your websites together and calling it a network or is there some kind of registration you have to go through?
I created a network by having one point of contact and then linking back to that main site as the sort of 'corporate headquarters' of the network. There's no paper work or anything, it's more of a theoretical idea than an actual processed thing.
Thanks, that's what I was wondering. I've seen a lot of site networks and wondered if they had to make it official by registering something or if simply calling themselves a "network" made them a network. So I guess I have an "official" network then .
That's also true. They don't have to be linked to each other, that's just what I've seen happen in the past. for example, jupiterweb networks ( internet.com )
Maybe linked websites like I'm going to call my website servehost as a division of my parent website enthonia , so that is kinda call network.
