Creating a list of users

Hi Everyone,

I am just in need of some advice. I need create some sort of place in my page which will store a list of users which are currently logged in.

Perhaps some sort of text box (a div element?), which reads from some place to get each users username, and then display each username in a list.

Can anyone give me a starting point?

 

well if your not familur with databases or includeing things in them that would be a good start.
