Creating a Great Product for PPC (Do I have this right?)

    Hi guys,

Alright so I have been in the SEO business for a while, but don't really play around with PPC too much. I have a product I want to promote, is this the proper method in a nutshell? Please note that I do not have ANY interest in organic results, strictly PPC.

    Step One: Create your product.
Step Two: Create a great sales page.
Step Three: Set up Merchant Processing and delivery system.
Step Four: Set up PPC Campaign.
    Step Five: Profit.

Okay so using that info, theoretically if I had a kick ass product and sales page, in a highly sought after industry. Average conversions seem to be around 2% (am I wrong here?).

So theoretically if I spent $100 on advertising, with each ad at .25 per click. That would give me 400 leads. If 2% of those converted, that should be 8 sales. If the product is priced at, say $30.00 that should be $240 back.

    Is this wishful thinking?

Not at all... It could even be better...the more targeted your campaigns are, the better the conversion rates. I've had campaigns with over 40% conversion rates for longer periods.

If your info is right, meaning that you do your research and that your keywords are relevant to your product and your sales page, which needs to be a good one, yes...You'll profit. I just wish it was that easy every time :)
