Hi Guys I am trying to do SEO for my not-for-profit site – cant hire experts for obvious nature of the site. I was wondering if the Gurus here would help me create a step by step to-do list that I can keep doing everyday. I am happy to commit an hour everyday. This way we can also help other to create benchmarks of what to do if you want to take a DIY approach to SEO. So come on guys help me, what is the first thing I should do? Daily activity 1: Daily activity 2: Daily activity 3: Daily activity 4: ..............................and so on
1) Write unique content. Not daily but every couple days at least. 2) Make use of forum posting and social bookmarking to build backlinks. 3) Make use of article marketing. 4) Depending on your site you can also make use of video marketing to promote it.
Depends on the type of business. Not daily activities but here's basically an idea. 1. Get your keyword list - terms you want to rank for. Don't get carried away. Start with about 30 to keep things simple. 2. Figure out what is something in the middle ground between what people like and talk about and your keywords. Example: Your a tax attorney and people like celebrities and scandals and stuff like that. What is in the middle is something like this link vimeo dot com/25479907 Roni Deutsch the tax lady gives up her legal license and might go to jail - drama etc. etc. 3. Find a medium and outlet or create one you like and repeat the process of writing or creating content about this middle ground. 4. Keep repeating that process. 5. Once you get good at this reach out to established bloggers and create relationships like you would in real life.
Nobody will just ofer the secret and anyway SEO can be done in multiple WAYS both WRONG or Corect ...
