Will Google ban me for the following? I have a product on my website which is a hot selling product. I would like to create a simple blog on blogger and dedicated this blog (just 1 post) to this 1 product - URL would contain product key-phrase, post would be some-what rich w/ the keyphrase, I'd have a paragraph or 2 about the product along w/ pictures of celebrities wearing the product (they're sunglasses), and of course, links to the actual product page on my ecomm. website. What do you think? Could my site get banned for this? If I create several blogs, ea. dedicated to 1 product (using 1 blog post), would this be okay (it would be 10 different products/blogs at most)... Are there any potential problems w/ this solution? I'm wondering if it would be enough to create one post alone as I've read that Google favors blogs would updated content and my blog would only have 1 post... I've actually found someone that did this w/ their product - the exact product I'm trying to advertise. Their came up on 1st page of results and the blog has 1 post w/ content. I've used the ban-checker link and their ecomm. site doesn't appear to be banned... What do you think? Is it a go?
Yes one post on each blogger blog would be okay. However are you gonna do some SEO or link building for the blog with one post? OR Are you going to do some bookmarking for that post? I dont really get you, by just one post on blogger blog, what will you achieve? BTW, this is not the way to create or increase backlinks. Yes google do favour the blogs/sites which are "updated regularly" and not just one post and leave it as it is for a year. Eventually it will not even worth more than a blog comment backlink or a forum profile page backlink.
