I'm reading on creating an internet company in a tax haven for a long time. Well, I'm in Turkey and the closest point was Dubai. I learned many things on Internet City in Dubai. No tax for 50 years is good and %100 ownership is also good. I planned to get there and work as a one-man-company. The problem in Dubai the office rents are very very high. What I calculated is 400-500$ for meter^2. Which means you should pay 8-10K for a small office monthly. Well, as a one man company I honestly can't be sure to earn that much every month. But I'll try to learn more in coming days. Dubai is really great location, many leading companies have an office, so your clients can be big companies, it's a chance to earn good numbers. Creating a company in Cayman Islands, British Virgin Islands or Bahamas are also good. In BVI, you pay ~300$ anually. What I wonder is: How do we manage invoices? It's one of the most important things in commercial life. This is one of the strongest reasons to create a company instead of working as a freelancer. What do you know on this subject? Generally? Anything on tax havens?
You could find an accountant / office services outsourcer who will do all your accounting / invoices etc. for you (physical printing / mailing). Don't know of any specific providers in Dubai, but I'm pretty sure this would be less expensive than actually having your own office...
