    Howdy all!

I've recently got into the whole IM thing about 3 months ago and have just been reading forums about keyword research/niche targetting etc and i think i'm about ready to start creating a site but one thing still throws me.
Do i create a site around an affiliate or do i create a site then slowly add affiliates?
As i have seen landing pages that just sell a product and that's it but i have also seen people create blogs over months and then add affiliates.

Either way i don't mind as i know it's no get rich quick scheme unless your lucky or really skilled :D

Any help is greatly appreciated thank you!

As for me, I would add affiliates right at the beginning so that you don't lose even a single sale.

I recommend building a site around a NICHE 1st. It's the niche topics, providing helpful content, sharing how to solve the problems that people in that niche face - that's what is going to help you attract the traffic that will ultimately buy the solutions you are offering.

You can add affiliate links any time, even right away if you want. However keep in mind it takes a LOT of traffic to make any money and having lots of good content to attract targeted traffic is the best FREE way to market.

Having a niche site up with some content will also help you get approved for affiliate programs in that niche. Some merchants will decline you if you don't have a related site.

You can go either way, but like 5star said, some merchants won't approve your application unless you have a nice site going.

You start building your site in line with your niche. Good content will attract more affiliates for sure.
