Created my own Adsense Alternative

    After adding the two addional ad units for Adsense, I found that a number of pages would only use the first block and the second and third would fail over to allfeeds (what a crock) So I decided to make my own and help generate traffic within the site. Since my site is database driven anyway, I just added a few fields for the sponsors and created some code to randomly pull data from the SQL database and display them as close to the google layout as I could. It works great and it looks a heck of a lot better than alfeeds. Hopefully it will encourage more internal traffic and maybe even more adsense clicks as the vistors find more useful information and ads.

    Yours was one of the ads I saw that made me decide to do my own. I just wanted a database driven version so the ads would be mixed up every time. :)
