I've created a great hosting review website and I'm trying to brainstorm how I could go about marketing and getting traffic to the site.

Considering the hosting review industry is so competitive I figured SEO and organic traffic might be a bit hard to get as well as expensive.

So I need some ideas on how to get traffic to the site.

I was thinking on buying a whole bunch of signature links and forum advertisements on webmaster sites and just hope for the best?

    All ideas are greatly appreciated

Try PPC? Try targeting "Hostgator", "Hostgator coupons", etc ... keywords and direct to appropriate page.

It might be really expensive, I haven't tried these keywords and I don't know if they will allow using Hostgator, etc ... words in your keyword phrases. If you are going to do it, don't spend more than $10/day on this, first try for a month, track results and see what works and what doesn't.
