Create you own Google News like site

    For those of you that are fans of the PHP Link Directory, I want to introduce the latest mod that allows you to create your own Google News type site where stories are imported on a regular schedule (set by cron). It's a great way to create a large site fast, and you can import from just about any RSS source. Please see the preview here:

    RSS feeds and a cron. The base code still uses the phpLD script.

    I will have to check this out... I have added little rss news blocks to my phpdirectory using carp.. But this looks like it would be useful.
