    Thumbnails seem to be coming from alexa, this is a very new feature for google though. What search did you use to get this screenshot?

    google preview tool uses alexa but currently has some problems and doen't show all sites preview.
    also check your site shows thumbnail in alexa. if alexa thumbnail is not there you can request it to create one for your site. it takes about 48 Hrs to update thumbnail.
