tmash I quite like yours but I am thinking I would like the logo to be more "integrated" as one kind of device. Someone suggested a mascot type logo by PM which I like the idea of.

I agree Nightvision I like both of those. I've got another good one sent to me by email and someone else is making another mascot style logo featuring a cat, dog and rabbit. But if you think you can do better there is still time. I've a lot of work to get the wholesale catalogue online from the Excel document before I can launch and I also need to find out if Google Checkout supports recurring subscription payments or not!

Jhill, a bit too green for my liking to be honest. That kind of logo might suit a military radar company more, or a snail supplier. As I mentioned our main focus will be products for household pets like cats, rabbits, dogs, fish and birds.

Someone has promised me a mascot one that will look similar to http://www.nsuriverhawks.com/images/nsuALT.jpg and if they can that will be excellent. Instead of the eagle it will have a cat, rabbit, and dog on it.

Of all the entries the one that is closest so far is the one by NightVision (in either colour), tmash you are on target with the Web 2.0 appearance only I'm not keen on substituting letters for a symbol that could easily be misinterpreted. People shouldn't have to think too much about what it means.
