I like the concept of BANS (Build a niche site) in that you find a niche on eBay to target, insert some code and you have a fully functional website. However, I did not like the idea of having to pay $97 for a limited functional site. So I decided to give Joomla (an open source content management system) a try which took me a couple of days to configure and finally figure out. Basically all you need to do is create feed categories and menu items, link them together, place them on your site and you'll have a fully functional rss feed from ebay with your affiliate ID. There are tons of additional add on features like polls, latest news section, comments, event calendars and even a forum. The added article feature is significant in that any niche site needs quality content. I want to gauge an audience to see if anyone is interested in this approach. Niche sites are becoming hugely popular. I want to write an e-book that will highlight the exact processes that I did to create my website with Joomla that will include screenshots and everything from start to finish. For something like this, I was thinking about selling the ebook for $7. What do you guys think? I do not want to write an ebook that will take me hours if no one is interested.
Nice website... It seems you know what you're doing.. Would be an interesting ebook, but not sure if i'll pay $7...
Id pay for your e-book. I'm an ePN affiliate and would love to throw it on my joomla site. PM me with your cheat sheet if ya' have one
