Forget it folks. I will figure it out on my own.

Hi. Thanks for responding. I have seen this kind of navigation system on a lot of multi-page sites as well. So I'm not sure what you are talking about. I know it can be done and successfully because so many sites (one page and multi-page sites) are doing this and with themes that are responsive. I just need to find someone who knows how to do what other coders have successfully done.

I'm sure it's really not that hard; I, myself, have even come close with little effort and I'm NOT a coder. I'm more like a find-a-snippet-of-code-online-don't-know-what-I'm-doing-can't-explain-it-plug-in-play-hope-and-pray-it-works kind of "coder" lol. For the most part that kind of "coding" has worked out pretty good for me, but not this time. Again, I have come extremely close to making it into a scroll-to-stick menu, the only two problems I am having are more so cosmetics than functionality. Maybe I'm just being lazy and don't want to look through any hidden files of this theme to get it to work. shrugs.

Anyway, another coder didn't know what I was talking about (I should've given a site example so he could see what I was trying to explain) and only got the black area to stick while the rest of the page scrolled behind it. So the second site was only to show a visual of the scroll-to-stick menu that I want. Everything else about that site is nonexistent -- it's not what I want. All I like about that site is the navigation scroll-to-stick menu feature.
