Create a graph from search results?

Lets say there is a site about cars www.carsxxxxxxx.com, this is an external site that lists cars for sale.

I want to create a site that can look at the number of search results once per day on this site and then produce a graph.

So on a monday it will bring back 357 cars, tues 456, wednesday 745....or whatever.

Is this possible????

 

it's possbile, and it's required someone who knows to work with php.

 

any php experts think they can do this?
