Creaating a Wordpress Theme - What links are allowed ?

    Does anyone know what kind of links are allowed if I create a wordpress theme.

    Am thinking of creating a wordpress theme for SEO purposes to get backlinks - will I be allowed into the wordpress theme directory if I put a the author link as my site - will I have to have to direct all the link juice to an author site (which I can then use to push my site).

    anyone had any SEO success out of getting links from a wordpress theme ?

    any help would be appreciated thanks

    Why do you think that there is any bans?
    Your theme - your links. Put on backlinks.

    Backlinks means other sites that has your url/link. That generally increases your PR if their site is a quality ones.
