Crazy High CTR

I recently opened up a new site backgrounds and such - and I have a pretty well blended, legal layout. My CTR is 20% - do you think google is suspicious?

No. Unless they have something to be suspicious about.

 

No, they don't.
It is just an unusually high CTR as opposed to past sites of mine.

 

20% is not crazy high at all. Dont worry. 80% is crazy high.

Depends on the site . If you're legit, no worries.

Now if you have "I like Mesothelioma because I like Mesothelioma. Lawyers are cool in Refinance Mortgage and Loans for Mortgage and Mesothelioma with Lawyers...", then G will most likely sting.

20% is impressive, not suspicious.

 

Low traffic sites usually have high CTRs, don't worry about it.

 

I had a similar experience recently.

my site went from an avg of 1% CTR to 20% CTR for two days... I knew this was click fraud and sent an email to g just to be cautious. They sent an email back to me within two days saying that they were already aware of the situation and were monitoring the issue, but could not provide any further details.

 

Don't reveal your site perfomance statistic to the others, like CTR because it's useless to compare among different market and each site.

 

20% CTR is really suspicious i think google adsense sees those sites suspicious which have CTR more than 10%

 

it depends what's your traffic. If you have a low traffic site then no problem. If you have a high traffic one, then problems might occur.

 

if your impression is very very high , i suggest you to write an email to the adsense team. they will be waiting for your emails

if your impression is not high like 5 impressions and 5 clicks, i think there is nothink to worry about this

Google may check out your site, but once they glimpse at it, they'll know it's legit.
