Grats and thank you for sharing the niche as well. I've been making .50 to $2 as a pretty steady CPC. I have to be real careful with the politics, if I go off on sociology without bringing the financials and economy into it its down to .03 Damn coffee ads.
Very very nice. But let me make two assumptions to see if I am right. #1. the site is new (less than say three years) #2. the site gets little traffic (say less than 200 clicks/day) What has been my experience is that when you either become older (with adsense) and/or you get more clicks... the CPC goes down. I don't know if other have experienced this but the sites I have that do little traffic get high CPC and the ones that get a lot of traffic and have been around a long time are exactly the opposite and you would think it should be the opposite... I dunno. I don't even try to figure out how they work!
Let me make two assumptions. #1. Whoever setup the Adwords campaign has no clue what they are doing and the op won't see a click like that again. #2. Typo and they meant to type .10 but typed 10. and the op won't see a click like that again. Either way, nice click you don't see them every day.
If I could get such clicks a day I would have made a few thousand dollars everyday. Hope my average CPC would increase from my present 2-3 cents
I will not repeat the same mistake twice. To be honest, 1 click > 5 bucks is extremely good and i believe the ratio will drop soon.
