It wasn't the corrupt priests that tainted the Catholic church. It was the failure of the Catholic church to do anything about it. Everyone knows that there are bad apples in every organization. As long as the organization deals with them appropriately the organization is seen as good.

Nobody would have much issue with Muslims if they would stop supporting Muslim terrorists. If Muslims would organize protests to take back their religion, people would think more highly of them. Instead they remain silent or worse, make excuses for terrorists.

I don't think it's just sheer coincidence that I've yet to hear a Muslim on this forum defend Israel. Instead they defend the terrorists that murder civilians.
