Do google automatically crawl your site once you sign up to adsense

Google sends a bot by the name "Google Media" to determine what ads should be displayed this a different bot then the one that crawls you for the google search index.

Once you have some backlinks Google will crawl your site. I wouldn't think there would be any correlation between signing up to adsense and Google crawling your site but I might be wrong.

My experience is that Google does give preference to pages with adsense.

Google had indexed only four pages on my site.

I added adsense to some pages and they got indexed within a week. Those without adsense were indexed much later.

I am going to try it out again. I am working on a new site. This time I wont get any back link and will also not submit my site to Google. If Google indexes the pages with adsense , I will let you know.

I'd also be interested to hear about this.

I'm pretty sure that it wouldn't make a difference, if for no other reason than why bother implementing something like that? Increasing revenue is out, since they wouldn't risk a neligible gain in income for accusations of biasing their search results.
