Hello Friends, I checked that my website's home page is not crawled regularly. It shows google cached my site's home page before month. I regularly submit site in bookmarking, directories etc. So what would be the steps so google can crawl and cache that page now? Is there any solution to resolve this problem? Thanks in advance.
Try submitting a Google sitemap through Google Webmaster Central. I find that this usually gets Google to your site shortly after submission.
you can try submitting on high traffic sites, which I guess you are already doing. other then that you can add new content. but to be honest I wont really worry about it.
Create content for your website daily. Social bookmarking is not as good as it used to be, also try creating a blog on blogger.com - as this is Google owned, your blog will get crawled sometimes within 24 hours, if you provide a post with a link to your site on that then you will see it get crawled.
Recreate your xml sitemap, submit that sitemap through google webmaster tool, it should be crawled immediatly. If not, check your page with validator.w3.org to see any html issues and solve. If it still doesnt crawl, change the content of page, hopefully it should crawl after all these steps.
Social bookmarking won't help much unless it is do-follow, in my opinion. You might want to try the previous answer tips. Good luck
