Crawling and Caching

Hi,

What is the difference between crawling and caching ?

 

Crawling means they just take a peek. Caching means they take a snapshot of your site and save it to their own server. You can see the cached copies of sites in the search results.

 

Crawling means a 'bot' downloads your page, but caching means it stores the page. You can tell bots not to crawl the page and you can also tell them to crawl but not to cache.

Crawling is a process in which engine requesting & successfully downloading a unique URL & caching takes a snapshot of your link url.

 

Crawling means, what the search engine's crawler download a page and caching means, what snapshot about your page and thats appear to you.

 

Caching means Google takes the look of the web page and shows the same page as cached page with the cached date and time. During caching the Google crawler reads the description and title and updates the same in the search engine.
Crawling means Google reads all the content of the web page without the html tags and codes. It then stores the same in its database. It also goes to the link provided in the web page and crawls that link web page also. Likewise, it crawls the whole website through the link structure in the web site.
