Crawler / Adsense Question

Discussion in 'AdSense' started by pharcyded, Feb 8, 2008.

My site was unable to be crawled the last time the spider came because i didn't have a robots.txt file on my server. I fixed all that, but my question is...will the ads become better targeted after crawled and will this increase my amount paid per click? My ads are already targeted to some degree, but am just curious!

    Thanks! :D

That shouldn't stop your site being crawled.

They may get better over time but don't get too hopeful. I sometimes find that more profitable ads start showing after a few weeks.

They can get better but keep in mind to feed the adsense spider with the correct amount of keywords so that you will have targeted ads ;)

Thanks guys! yeah my site was crawled by google bot, but the adsense crawler is different. It crawls for content to give you more relevant ads to your static pages. I guess it's just a waiting game...if it happens!

However I doubt it you will earn more per click.
Most probably you will get more clicks though and thus earn more ;)
