crawled as ....populars/popular_24.ht

Greetings,
When I looked on webmaster page i saw it says Google couldnt find http://www.yoursite.com/html/populars/popular_24.ht or .h etc.
Same was on msn search and shows my page as http://www.yoursite.com/html/populars/popular_24.ht
What is the problem here? edit: how can i correct these faults?

 

If your page is not really exist it will return and error 404 Page not found even if it's showing your hope page, you have to set an error 404 page not found error page in your site other wise before setting the redirection of non exist pages set the header to 301 redirection, hope you understand.

 

This means somewhere on your site is that hyperlink that doesn't exist in your html code, you'll have to hunt it out and remove it.

 

thank you for help.what happens if i cant find them? or cant redirect as 404 .i am a lil noob

 

Its rough work, but someone has to do it what is the real url that was said missing, I'll see if I can find it for you.
